Leah
Anova
Cinematographer |
|
| |
Originally
from Quezon City, Philippines, Leah grew up eating lumpia
(eggrolls), playing under the sun, and running with her
dogs. She studied at Trinity College and earned a BA in
International Affairs, but quickly grew tired of the life
of a wanna-be politician. Instead, she picked up a 35mm
SLR camera... and was hooked. She went on to attend The
American Film Institute (AFI) Conservatory, where she studied
and earned her MFA in Cinematography. Equally adept at shooting
video and film, Leah has delivered directors' visions in
music videos, shorts, documentaries, and features. She is
known for her ability to think quickly on her feet, her
strong sense of framing, her love of light, and her collaborative
spirit.

Justin
Wingate
Editor |
|
| |
Justin
Wingate is the Post-Production Course Director at the Los
Angeles Film School. He received his Associates of Applied
Science in Radio and Television Broadcasting in 2003 from
the International College of Broadcasting in Dayton Ohio.
He soon found himself operating cameras for the WB network
morning news show The Daily Buzz. After a two year stint
as the Multi-media Coordinator for the Vineyard Church in
Dayton Justin decided that film school was the next logical
step towards his goal as film editor in Hollywood. He started
at the Los Angeles Film School in January of 2006 and finished
in December of that year with a concentration in Editing.
Immediately after graduation Justin was hired by the school
as Audio/Visual Tech Support and six months later was offered
a teaching position in the Post-Production Department.
What excites Justin most about teaching Avid Media Composer,
the Aesthetics of Editing, and Adobe After Effects are the
moments when a student has a ?light bulb moment? and finally
gets it. Even more exciting is the opportunity to perfect
his craft along side the students. |
